My wife bought this for me so I can receive internet on this deployment and it comes in this small box. It looks easy to connect and figure out on the page but when you get it, the pigtail thing that I’m thinking they are talking about does not connect to anything on my laptop. It comes with no instructions to tell you what it is, how to connect it or what items you need to make this contraption work. It’s not like I’m new to networking but this thing sure does make me feel that way. Can someone help me out with this issue.

This antenna works great for me. I hooked it up to the Engenius 600mw pci card.

The ignorant guy who gave this antenna a bad review obviously didn’t know what this was. It is an antenna, you can’t hook it up to your laptop unless you have a wireless usb adapter with a removable rp-sma antenna. Why would you buy something you don’t know how to use and then give it a bad review when you realize you don’t know what you are doing? It is not the antenna’s fault your dumb.

Anyone who gives this less than 4 stars is ignorant. It’s a quality product and it will work for you if you know what you’re doing or learn to know what to do.

I haven’t had a whole lot of time to use it. But, when I have used it, it worked fine.
